A disgusting show of dhimmitute and cowardice form the Liberal Party of Australia. Please do not get me wrong - ALP is NOT an option either, not in the dhimmitute department anyway.
The scandal broke on the day Mr Abbott released his immigration policy, which included deep cuts to overseas migration.
The scandal has also raised questions about due-diligence in the party's preselection process. With no one else prepared to put up their hand for the safe Labor seat, Mr Barker was endorsed rather than preselected.
Mr Barker was one of several candidates endorsed by the state executive alone, without the usual participation of local branch members. (source)

What a pity he looks so awful. If he was not fat, if he looked good, he would get a lot of support.
This election campaign is our last chance to force this issue into the open, to force all sides to discuss MUSLIM immigration. Once Labour gets back in we are in for self-destruction.

Dan – I agree with the underlying sentiment. This IS what we can expect and it does NOT auger well for the immediate future should Abbott win. Abbott is jockeying for the new “man of steel” label; the same one John Howard wore while he tripled muslim immigration. That said, this man is no champion of the cause.
“Another source within the Right faction described Mr Barker's endorsement as "the sort of thing that gives us a bad name"….
and all who want muslim immigration stopped dead in its tracks!
He has set the anti-islamic position back by many degrees and done immeasurable damage to the cause, making us easy targets for mockery, “tarring with the same brush”, and has improved the ground of those who wish to easily dismiss all concerns about islam.
He is a self-aggrandising twit with a very strange “take” on Christianity, a one-man demonstration of some of the perils of “the reformation”! They must be laughing, over at Hizb Ut-tahrir.
